Ca` D`oro Hotel Venice

The hotel building is an example of Venice's minor architecture, but preserves the fascination of the ancient city. The moment guests enter via the distinctive courtyard, they will be engulfed in the intimate and very particular atmosphere of the Venice of times gone by. They will be carried back to the age of gondolas moving back and forth among the palaces, mysterious custodians of amorous intrigues and conspiracies. The original 13th century beams and marble features in the space used as the reception hall have been preserved in perfect condition through careful restoration, and the chandelier and splendid antique mirror are a testament to the sublime skill of the master glaziers of Murano. Renovated in 2006, it comprises 20 double rooms, 5 single rooms and 2 junior suites spread over 4 floors. How To Go

From Marco Polo Airport take the No.5 ACTV public transport bus to the Piazzale Roma terminal (35 minutes), or the ATVO airport bus to the Piazzale Roma terminal (20 minutes) and then the No.1 ACTV water bus to the Ca' d'Oro stop (15 min). Take the ALILAGUNA launch (blue line running hourly from 10.40 to 19.40) to Fondamenta Nuove stop (40 min) then 8 to 10 minutes on foot. A water taxi will take guests to the hotel water gate in Rio di Ca' Dolce in 30 min. From the Piazzale Roma terminal or Venice Santa Lucia railway station take the No. 1 ACTV water bus to the Ca' d'Oro stop (15 minutes and 12 minutes respectively) and a water taxi to the hotel water gate in Rio di Ca' Dolce, which should take 10 to 15 minutes. From Tronchetto car park and terminal No. 82 ACTV take a water bus to Piazzale Roma, then change on to No. 1 to Ca' d'Oro (30 minutes) and take a water taxi to the hotel water gate in Rio di Ca' Dolce, which should take 20 min. From the Ca' d'Oro water bus stop, turn right at the end of the narrow lane leading from the water bus stop, then go straight on for about 200 m as far as a small square, Campo Santi Apostoli. Here turn left and the hotel is 100 metres ahead inside the Corte Barbaro courtyard.
